THE GEORGIA PROJECT - Kept New by Continuous Improvement

THE GEORGIA PROJECT - Kept New by Continuous Improvement

This is a 11" x 14" acrylic painting based on a postcard of the Wilsonian Motel which was located in Greenwood, Indiana. This is the only one of this series that isn't based on a location in Georgia. Why? Because I did this before I decided to do all locations in Georgia. Thats all, it's not a great story, but it's true. An interesting story is that I did this on Election day, and the day after! The painting is on wood panel and is framed in a simple natural wood lattice frame, ready for hanging.

THE GEORGIA PROJECT is the second volume of the Pandemic Postcard series. I named it this because 7 out of the 8 paintings in the series are based on locations in Georgia. From now, until January 5th, I will be donating 50% of the proceeds from sales to Fair Fight, a Georgia non-profit working to fight for voting rights and to win both Senate seats for the Democratic candidates. Fair Fight is headed up by the great Stacy Abrams. 2021 is looking brighter already, but having a democratic edge in the senate would be fantastic. (After the special election on January 5th, I will donate 50% to the local food bank, here in Tacoma.)
